Course Information
This course allows students to better understand and use scientific terminology derived from ancient Greek and Latin. Both languages have heavily influenced modern terminology in many scientific fields. In fact, Latin and Greek often turn up in the very same word! Thus, anyone wishing to engage in the sciences at any level will be well served with some practical knowledge of both languages.
