Course Information
This introductory philosophy course will focus on two aspects. Students will gain a basic understanding of ethics, knowledge and metaphysics. In addition to learning the content of the course, students will also learn new skills. This course will specifically help students develop logical reasoning, critical analysis, and well-structured writing skills.

This course is aimed towards young people. Not only helping students achieve the goals they already have, but also helping them develop the skills they need to make them confident that they need when choosing their life path. Course materials will be drawn from authors from different regions and times including Confucius, Aristotle, Kant, and David Hume.

Students will complete two essays in this course. First, students will write an essay that specifically analyzes the philosophical issues raised by one of the philosophers combined with the student’s academic interests. Secondly, students will write an essay of an internal review to demonstrate core personal values ​​based on philosophical reasoning. In this way, this course will provide an understanding of philosophy, teaching students how to think about problems and the tools to enrich their hearts.
